POLITICAL SCIENCE much needed subject-

What is Political Science ? 

                         Deals with the systematic study of Governance by the application of empirical and generally scientific methods  of  analysis . Political science examines the state and its organ and its institution. In simple words  Political Science deals with the study of POLITICS , GOVERNMENT , CONSTITUITION and PUBLIC POLICIES .

       We are the citizen of India not By Registration, By descent and By naturalisation, but By Birth, and its is our responsibility to know about the political system of India. As a student it is our right to study the Democratic system and Constituition of India more in depth , we cant deny the fact that this subject was not taught to us , yes this subject was taught to us, but we all know how. When I was in 10th me and my classmates didnt know what is Parliament, Executive , Judiciary, State council MLAs & MPs and their functioning Or the concept of Democracy, I didnt even know what is constituition and it's purpose , the same thing apply to most of the students ( specially urdu medium). I reckon when we attain the age of 16 or enter in 11th , we get enough maturity and understanding and we can easily adjust ourselves to understand the other concepts of a subject even if we start studying from the scratch in a less time, but the student of science stream are prohibited to study Political science. The state should make political science as compulsory subject for every stream ( Science and commerce) because it is right and responsibility  to every student to have the basic information about the governing system of India. Not every single student go for a medical and engineering line ,there is also a large group of students who wants to be the part of Indian bureaucracy and judiciary by studying from science stream in 12th. Unless we shall know the democratic system of India in a better way, we will blindly follow any politician .... There is my friend and yesterday we were just having a normal conversation and  I randomely asked him that Bhai tu elections k time bahut active rehta hai rallies me bhi jaata hai ..ye bata vidhan sabha aur vidhan parishad k elections ky hote hai aur khasdar aamdar k kaam ky hote hai"?   And he replied  "Mujhe nahi pata"  If he doesnt know the functions of legislators and about state  assembly&council elections how can we expect that he is supporting the right person, believe me or not but this is the origin of Hero-worship. One of my teachers often used to tell us the feature of muslims is that he is aware of his surroundings (specifically political issues and disputes running around the world). Pol.Science is not a subject that makes you aware from current affairs as it has fixed syllabus, but if you studied the concepts of this subject your curiousity will get automatically increased to debate on a issue. We do not know the schemes and policies of government due to lack of understanding, we do not have basic idea about fundamental rights conferred to us by constitution because of less curiousity... When will we reasonably criticize the government? If criticism dies, society will die. If we do not criticize government, the democracy will turn into dictatorship. We will have to bring the quality of an honest  leader into us, our muslim community continuously falling into the well of degradation, and believe me as long as we will not try to become the leader, the degraded condition will remain same for our community.

EDUCATION WITH VALUE SYSTEM:  Once Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam said that if you want to bring peace in a country there are 3 dimensions required for this, Removal of poverty , Converting religion into spiritualityand Education with value system. There are some reformations need to be done in Indian education system, it doesnt mean that we should change our syllabus and curriculum, but we should change the way of teaching. Following are some of the ways by which we can dignified the Education system.                                           

1: Skill based learning, 2: More accountability, 3: parent involvement, 4: Autonomus structure, 5: Adapt new technology, 6: Teaching with practicals and demonstrations   ...In India there is one common trend in majority of schools that we do not focus or emphasis on practicals and demonstrations. How can we expect that a student of 6th class or 5th class will understand the tricky concepts by just theory and books. Teachers should conduct a demonstrations and debates on school level. Teaching with practical presentation would enhance the conceptual understanding of students. Digital Education should be generalized. The concept of Rattafication (mugging) should be completely eradicated from the society of education, teachers should focus on improving conceptual clarity  and analytical power of students. Teacher must know how to sustain the calibre of students. We do not give attention to Pol.science subject , we give attention to only the subjects of science , we should give attention to both subjects or partly the one and partly the other coz they both hold equal importance at the same time.

 MY OPINION: I Personally believe that pol. science should be made compulsory for the students of every stream. I dont know why Pol.Science has been made limited to us ( for science and commerce stream) , we dont want this demarcation at all. Along with, students should also mind their duties,  the period of adolescence is very important in the life of the students, it is also a time to devolop knowledge and skills, learn to manage emotions and relationship and aquire attributes and abilities . In that age to keep yourself away from the distractions is very important, instead of consuming your precious time in some stupid games you can have some research in the subjects of your interest. Though I am a student of science, I am very interested in politcal science , cosmology and anthropology. whenever I get free I keep reading about these subjects on wikipedia and keep doing research on internet( specially pol.sci). If you wish to study this particular subject then it is subservient to your love and interest in Indian democratic system. State should make this subject compulsory for every stream as it holds lots of importance.
